Cottage Life was looking to give its next relaunch a fresh new look with new business goals:

  • More engagement and less drop-offs.

  • Monetize through more advertising.

  • Attracting a younger generation.

Our product strategy was:

  • Develop a new content distribution plan.

  • Leverage each platform and distribute content cross platform.

  • Build an enhanced product for tablet and mobile users.

  • Reorganize content into 6 categories max.

  • Reorganize around topic instead of medium

  • Ability to organically cross promote Cottage Life products

User Testing

You never get it perfect the first time, so user testing is key. Interviewing users in person and remotely will help shape the next iteration.
