Navibaby: The step-free transport app

Navibaby: The step-free transport app

Project brief
To design a new feature: Get me home. While my teammates progress in building the MVP, I am to take the existing concept and design a one-tap button to automatically route a user home, and how to set a home address.

Process

  1. Explore how competitors or other apps solve this problem.

  2. Ideation: Where will “get me home” button be?

  3. Ideation: How will the user input his/her home address?

  4. Design flow in Sketch.

  5. Prototype in Marvel.

  6. Upload designs to Zeplin.

Competitor & Market Research
Exploring competing transport apps and other ways to display destination input.

Ideation
Sketching possibilities where the “get me home” button lays within the layout. As well, sketching the flow how a user sets his/her home address. We practiced the “crazy 8” exercise for other possibilities.

Design Flow in Sketch
Bringing wireframes to pixels and applying the Navibaby branding. Usability tests and iterations were practiced.

Interactive Prototype
Using Marvel and InVision to test the flow of each version.
